The Kangaroo is being hosted for the fifth time in Australia and for the third consecutive edition HCT is present.
Our first edition was 2 seasons ago. Zlako Chaloupka won the prologue but wasn't strong enough in the sprints, which resulted in a 5th place in the GC. Last season we send Tomas Swin in TF to Australia. Unfortunately he had a bad day in the prologue, which cost him many seconds. He recovered by winning the vital fifth stage and therefore finishing third in the GC. And so we took a reserved spot.
This season no Tomas Swin as captain. Its all about Yrjana Sistonen this season for HCT. After dominating the sprints and TT's in the Norway Tour and performing really well in one day races our faith in him is huge. He almost gave us the second classic win ever in HCT history but unfortunately he lost the sprint in Grasse - Toulon against Franz Amelung(two times winner of the Kangaroo Tour GC). But fortunately he isn't present here :)
For this season we decided to go all-in for the Kangaroo Tour with the following line-up:
Yrjänä Sistonen CAPTAIN
Tomas Swin
Peni Qarase
Javier Oliva
Heath Hamilton
Zlako Chaloupka
Our best possible team will come here with only 1 goal: Winning the GC. Everything else will be a failure.
If everything goes well here then we will also be present at the Criterium Monaco and the Tour of Luzon. Both races will be captained by again Sistonen. After that race he gets a short break.
Good luck to every one in this great Tour!

I hope Chaloupka for the prologue just to build his legendary status in the tour. Sistonen has the best stats for the prologue and is in topform. My bet is on him.
Prologue will be decided on who has a good day. Biggest favorites by far are of course Sistonen and Chaloupka. Im hoping Sistonen since that will give him an advantage for GC.
But you'll never know whats gonna happen, injurys, bad luck... or super legs for Roar or Skytte. Will be exciting!
You had three featured riders in the preview. Chaloupka could win his third stage in the prologue (but I guess that Sistonen wants to take all stages if possible).
